Institute of Clayworkers Benevolent Fund

The Institute of Clayworkers Benevolent Fund is keen to hear of applications for financial assistance on behalf of employees, past and present, of British Ceramic Confederation member companies.

To be eligible, employees must have been involved in the production of heavy clay and refractory goods. Beneficiaries are typically those who, due to ill health or accident, have been unable to work for some time and consequently suffered financial hardship.

Companies can help seriously disadvantaged employees by passing on the following information – name of employee, age, length of service in the industry, date of termination of employment (if applicable), and a brief outline of health (or other) difficulties which have led to termination of employment/restricted ability to work.

Details should be sent to:

Institute of Clayworkers
c/o British Ceramic Confederation
Federation House
Station Road
Stoke-on-Trent
ST4 2SA.
