Keith Ormrod

After completing a Business Studies degree in London, I joined Metal Box and held a series of sales and commercial roles within their plastics businesses until joining RPC Group in 1987. There I held Sales Management and, for the last ten years, General Management positions running a series of injection and thermoforming factories.

I joined the former IOP as a Diploma Member in 1990.

Since June 2008 I have run my own consultancy business and have been involved in a variety of projects, principally concerned with sustainable materials and plastics recycling. Recently I have joined Cavendish Management Resources ( CMR ) who are a leading provider of equity and other funding for small to medium -sized businesses. I am their packaging specialist so intend to focus on this sector by offering assistance to companies seeking finance and/or wishing to become involved in M & A activity.

In the context of Training within packaging, I have extensive experience in plastics technology,  sales and business management as well as investment support, so I am interested in seeing how our Group may be able to introduce these elements into the education processes offered by the Society.
