Corporate training

The Corporate Partnering Scheme provides individually tailored programmes of training and education to meet specific company needs at discounted prices

Corporate Partnering Schemes are unique packages of education and training to meet the exacting needs of individual companies. Corporate Partnering enables employees from all functions and levels to gain an appreciation of packaging technology, jargon and processes, whilst placing them on a pathway to further skills development and qualifications.

Analysis of needs

Each programme begins with an analysis of the organisation's training needs. This can range from a short discussion with a key manager, through to an extensive process that identifies company business needs, matches these with staff expertise, undertakes a gap analysis and proposes a range of specific solutions.

Accredited trainers

Training is provided by tutors who are part of the Society’s database of accredited trainers, each who has specific expertise in his/her own field. Many of the trainers are independent consultants who offer different services to their clients as well as providing training via Institute schemes.

Date and location

The work takes place at a location and time to suit the requirements of the company. This can be on their own premises, at IOP: The Packaging Society’s offices in Grantham or somewhere in between.

The important role of packaging

The role of packaging cannot be underestimated in any industry. In its simplest form it protects. At its most elaborate it attracts, informs and sells. Packaging technology never stands still which is why it is important for companies involved in any way with the packaging supply chain to ensure that their staff are experts in their own field.

Additional benefits

All Corporate Partners benefit from an annual review of packaging skill needs within their organisation and courses can be adapted accordingly. All candidates can also be automatically enrolled as IOP members.
