Clive Husselbury FIMMM - Councillor Representing Honorary Fellows and Fellows
Clive HusselburyClive joined The Institution of Metallurgists in 1974 as a first year Metallurgy undergraduate at Manchester University. He was elected to corporate membership in 1983 and granted the honour of Fellowship in 1999.
His career has been spent in the materials industries spanning metals, plastics and building materials/products, working with primary & secondary production, processing, fabrication and distribution companies in a variety of sales, marketing and general management positions, both in the UK and overseas. He have served on the Council and/or committees of various trade associations including BSSA (British Stainless Steel Association), AlFed (Aluminium Federation), ASA (Aluminium Stockholders Association), ARPMA (Aluminium Rolled Products Manufacturers Association), EIA (Engineering Industries Association) & NASS (National Association of Steel Stockholders).
Today Clive runs his own Marketing Communications, Business Solutions and Training company, Beans Ltd, which has business to business clients in many sectors including metals, plastics and related trade associations. He also has a specialist cookware import business that trades online at www.cookequip.co.uk and also acts as a wholesaler.
