Technical Certificate in Clay Building Products Level 3

The Technical Certificate in Clay Building Products has been developed by the International Clay Technology Association (ICTa) in conjunction with Proskills, and is endorsed by The Ceramics Society and The Institute of Materials Minerals & Mining. The course has recently been updated and will now be administered by the IOM3 Training Department from our Grantham Centre.

Aims & Benefits

To help broaden the technical knowledge of those working in the clay technology industries.

Provides a route towards a qualification recogniced by ICTa.

The Certificate in Clay Building Products courses have been accredited by IOM3 on behalf of the Engineering Council. Successful Level 3 students are able to become Technician grade members of IOM3 and apply for Eng Tech grade registration with the Engineering Council.

Course Format

The course duration is 30 weeks.

Delivered in a distance learning format, supported by tutorial sessions with in-company mentors and IOM3 tutors.

As a condition of entry you must be allocated a mentor, this role provides you with support and will be your first point of contact.

6 Assignments- spaced out over the 30 weeks leading up to a two hour exam.

The course is accredited by PAA/VQ-SET which is the leading awarding body for the clay building products sector.
