Professional qualifications

Fellows and Professional Members of the Institute can qualify for registration with the Engineering Council as Chartered Engineers (CEng), Associate Members (Incorporated division) can qualify as Incorporated Engineers (IEng) and Technicians as Engineering Technicians (EngTech). Fellows and Professional members can also qualify for registration as Chartered Scientists (CSci) with the Science Council, or Chartered Environmentalists (CEnv).
