Advice on an MSc
18 Mar 2009, 12:26lyman
Hi,
I am currently researching the possibility of doing an MSc (Part-time, distace learning) while I am working. I have found a course (through Materials World) which has really interested me (MSc Manufacturing leadership), I am currently comparing it to a similar course at Sheffield Hallam Univeristy (MSc Materials and Manufacturing). If anyone has any advice on MSc's they have done which may have been similar it would be greatly appreciated - I definatly want to do one which gives me both some business and some technology aspects - so any other suggestions would be appreciated. Also if anyone is aware of any funding/scholarships which are made available for this kind of thing that would be great!
Many Thanks
Helen

Advice on MSc
MSc Materials & Manufacturing appears to be the best option, especially if you can additionally consider certification courses on PMP. However you still need to look at the components or design of each MSc program. Some courses are designed to be business oriented, even though this may not be clear at first from the program title.
