Materials Congress 2008 – Materials for the FutureMaterials Congress 2008 will be held in Grantham, Lincolnshire on 13-15 May 2008. It will be the sixth in a series of major materials conferences organised by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. The first Congress was held in 1998.Congress will once again bring together materials scientists and engineers, representatives from industry, government and the media to update and debate the science, design, engineering and technology of materials, minerals and mining and their practical applications. The event will be based in the new IOM3 Regional Centre in the East Midlands of England.
