  • David Alvey (Kitenics Limited) - Managing the Stress and Strain of Validation

Why, what and how can validation be used to meet regulatory requirements and add value to the company’s bottom line. Demonstrating that a well constructed validation master plan can significantly reduce the effort and expense required to meet the regulations whilst providing valuable data which will enable the business to manage more effectively the production process in the future.

 

  • Paul Marchant - (ARTIS) - Rubber in Food Contact Applications

Rubber finds use in a wide range of food contact applications, including seals, tubing, milk teats, soothers, containers and milking inflations. EU / USA legislation covering the use of rubber in food contact applications will be covered, including the rules and limitations of this. Challenges facing the future of rubber in food contact applications will also be discussed.
