Visit to Tees Cottage Pumping Station

5 Oct 2018

The Tees Cottage Pumping Station dates back to the early 1900's and was built to extract water from the nearby river Tees.  The CIE visit will take place just before the autumn open weekend, and the boilers will be in steam, and the beam engine working.  This will be an exclusive opportunity to see this machinery in action.

Visit will take place at 1:30pm on Friday 5th October.

The pumping station is on Conniscliffe raod in Darlington, DL3 8TF.
