The global network for the materials cycle
The Materials Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), an overarching network of networks in materials which is managed by IOM3 on behalf of the Technology Strategy Board (TSB). IOM3 manages the core activities of the Materials KTN and three of its nodes: MADE (Materials and Design Exchange), PIN (Polymer Innovation Network) and SMART.mat (Smart Materials network).

The IOM3 Younger Members Committee organises events especially for young people, including the World Lecture Competition and an annual Research Conference.
