Take note of this date and also consider if you would like to submit a paper. Individuals and organisations wishing to submit proposals are invited to send titles and brief synopses to jczerski@aol.com.
This year’s event, again kindly sponsored by Colombian Chemical Company, addressed wide-ranging topics, including Health & Safety, specialty additives, compounding technology and recycling developments. Feedback from delegates on this and the 2006 event was extremely positive.
A local society of the institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining (IOM3), Manchester Polymer Group remains very active, offering a full programme of at least eight evening events each season (September to April). Site visits and lectures give participants a broad spectrum of learning experiences, allowing both seasoned professionals and those unfamiliar with polymers to be informed of the very latest developments in materials, processes, and applications.
